- These gaiters have been around for a long time and are very strong and durable. The instep strap is now made of triple-bartacked BioThane webbing and there is an additional tab to hold down the front opening. The fitted design and the use of durable, waterproof fabrics set the standard for all gaiters.
- The gaiters are waterproof, windproof, breathable, and resistant to abrasion. They are made using laminated construction.
- The instep strap is made of durable BioThane material. The inner leg and boot are made of abrasion-resistant Cordura. The lower boot is also abrasion-resistant and lined with Packcloth.
- The gaiters have a larger circumference to fit plastic mountaineering boots. The front closure is double stitched and there are reinforced lace hooks for the boots. The gaiters can be closed using a hook/loop system at the front or a buckle at the top.
- The leg panel is made of GORE-TEX 3L, 100% nylon, 70D plain weave fabric. The foot panel is made of Cordura 2L, 100% nylon, 1000D woven fabric.
